WordPress Developer

Applied Labs is seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team in Program Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing various WordPress websites for our clients. They will have strong problem-solving skills, a passion for coding, and experience working with WordPress.

As a WordPress Developer at Applied Labs, you will be involved in every aspect of the website development process, from brainstorming creative concepts to developing and maintaining websites. You will work with a team of designers and developers to create custom websites that meet our clients' needs.

• Develop, manage and maintain WordPress websites and web applications.
• Collaborate with designers to translate designs into websites using WordPress.
• Create and customize WordPress themes and plugins to match client requests.
• Test websites for responsiveness and browser compatibility.
• Uphold company coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project completion within established time-scales.
• Seek to improve existing company procedures, coding practices, and workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency with WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Previous experience developing and maintaining custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Knowledge of responsive design and browser compatibility.
• Understanding of design principles and user experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Attention to detail, with a passion for problem-solving and creative thinking.
